Why Virtual Coaching is still Relevant Post Covid…

Virtual coaching took off during 2020 and for some has taken a back seat but there’s many reasons it still has a place today and in the future.

There are many types ranging from apps with videos, live virtual sessions and programming coaching. Many people have taken to the apps to do workouts anywhere at any time. But they aren’t designed for you specifically. This is why live virtual sessions and programming are important even if you’re doing in person sessions. Working out is about consistency and technology helps us stay consistent with less excuses.

During the pandemic people loved virtual training because in person wasn’t an option. However now that things are “back to normal” virtual has taken a bit of a back seat. I understand the need and want for in person sessions however why not do both?

Virtual training will keep a client consistent and on target with their goals no matter where they are or what their circumstances. You can work in person with someone twice a week, provide them a program to do on their own and/or do live virtual sessions from anywhere in the world!

By the time the client is back they haven’t missed a beat! Personally I love the programming. I don’t need a trainer in front of me but having a workout program, a check list of exercises to do keeps me on track and is very rewarding. Those who are just starting out and aren’t familiar with terminology or form will really benefit from live virtual sessions and once they progress to the programming they will feel accomplished and knowledgeable. Educating clients to gain understanding in what they are doing, why they are doing it and how to execute it all is very rewarding.

I encourage everyone to explore a virtual coaching option to maintain consistency. Don’t let life get in the way. It should be the one thing you do for yourself daily and with all the options we have available to us, there’s no excuses. Let’s move!
